WHAT IS PROLINER?

SAR International Proliner is a Linear Low Density Polyethylene (LLDPE), which is a special blend of nylon and alumunium. This is what gives Proliner its metallic look along with extreme durability.

It is a Thermal Blanket solution for goods transported by container. Proliner is essentially a specially designed bag inside the container that provides protection from current issues that occur within the logistics industry such as temperature, moisture, and contamination damage.

Due to SAR International years of experience and vigorous testing, we are able to produce Proliner to its peak performance specifications. Extensive research has shown that for Proliner to perform at its peak when it comes to protection, durability, and pliability. The thickness is vital, which is why we produce Proliner at 84 microns.

ISSUE:

         

1. HEAT AND CONDENSATION

The main issue is the temperature fluctuation. This is not only an issue for commodities that are sensitive to temperature.
It is also the main cause for condensation to buildup inside the container, which causes cargo to be damaged by moisture.

2. CONTAMINATION

Quality of cargo is often jeopardized during transit due to contaminants.
This may be caused by previous shipments, cleaning process or container servicing.
For consumable goods, this cause the whole container goods to be contaminated.

3. FIRE

Another issue which can be catastrophic for the importer, exporter and even shipping lines, is the risk of containers fire.
The Proliner is proven to significantly  reduce the chance of this major issue to occur.

BENEFIT OF PROLINER

1. REFLECTIVE

Due to Proliner reflective properties, temperature fluctuations are greatly reduced. This means that the risk of temperature damage is drastically decreased.

2. VACUUMED

Due to the final vacuum process, condensation is unable to form on the inside of the Proliner. But this is not the only advantages of this process.
Some commodities such as charcoal are potentially dangerous. It is well known that for a fire to ignites, it needs a heat source as well as fuel (oxygen).

Our Proliners vacuum process draws out any oxygen that helps fuel the fires.

3. CONTACTLESS

The Proliner will ensure that the goods will not come in contact with the container walls. This prevent any type of chemical contamination.
Polyethylene film is also less permeable to gasses and foreign odors.

Proliner not only protects, but also maintains the quality of the goods during transit.

4. DRY

Upon very installation, Proliner comes standard with food grade Calcium Chloride Moisture Absorbers.
After considerable testing, SAR International provides the ideal desiccant, volume, and placement of moisture absorbers inside every Proliner installation.
